Mechanic Mercy Thompson has friends in low places-and in dark ones. And now she owes one of them a favor. Since she can shapeshift at will, she agrees to act as some extra muscle when her vampire friend Stefan goes to deliver a message to another of his kind.
But this new vampire is hardly ordinary-and neither is the demon inside of him.
My Review:
Mercy Thompson is a VW auto mechanic and a walker (shapeshifter). She owes Stephan a favor, and he's calling in to collect. Neither Stefan or Mercy expect what's about to happen, yet the consequences are dire for everyone involved.
They meet up with a sorcerer named Corey Littleton who also happens to be a vampire. They discover that Littleton also has a demon inside him.
Mercy is injured during her completing the favor, which upsets Stefan and Samuel to no end. Now the hunt is on to find Littleton and destroy him before he does anymore damage.
Mercy is not sure how to act around Adam, yet doesn't want to hurt Sam's feelings either.
When Warren is found injured at Uncle Mike's, Mercy is determined to reunite him and Kyle, no matter the cost which is not a popular idea among the pack. Can Littleton be stopped? Can Mercy find Littleton? Who created Littleton? Will Warren be okay? What does Mercy really feel for Sam and Adam? Your answers await you in Blood Bound.

Stefan happens to be one of my favorite secondary characters. We get to explore more into his history in Blood Bound. Mercy does what she usually does best – going along through everything only to discover she's in over her head. I love the writing and characters and definitely recommend this series.
