My Review:

Two strangers come together for a one-night stand with no names between them. However Kaley Kozlov knew who she was with – Vincent "Vince" Mori.

Kaley is a Russian mob boss’ daughter whose family wants nothing to do with her son, Alexei. They want to send the baby away and remove the stain of dishonor. Kaley's only choice to seek protection from The Barone Family where Vince is.

Vince Mori remembers Kaley, but is unsure of the bundle of joy resting in her arms. Vince isn't ready to be a father, he's got big plans for himself. Bu then The Russians declare war on The Italians because they believe Kaley's been kidnapped rather than a runaway and all hell breaks loose. Can Kaley and Vince be the parents Alexei needs? How will the war go? Your answers await you in Bastard's Baby.

This new-to-me author presented a helluva good read! You never had to second guess what was happening throughout the whole book.

I really enjoyed all of the characters. The story and characters were raw, gritty, real, compelling, and intriguing, too. I look forward to more from this author in the future.
